Lexis Advance Professional Certification Training

Want to get certified and master the skills that employers desire? Attend a Lexis Advance Professional Certification Training. To become certified, you only need to attend one training and take a short online quiz proving your research skills. Once certified, your name will be added to a National Registry. You will receive 1300 POINTS when you attend training (800 points) and complete the certification quiz (500 points) PLUS you will receive a $5 amazon.com gift card. And, when you attend a Professional Certification training, you'll earn an entry into a raffle for a $250 J. Crew gift card. You have three chances to attend:

Bloomberg Law is a legal research tool that integrates primary legal content (cases, statutes, regulations, and a citator service) with company and client information and business and legal news from Bloomberg LLC all in one place. Bloomberg Law also offers free access to federal and state court dockets and filings, sample transactional documents, and daily briefings in securities regulation, bankruptcy law, and IP.

Access to Bloomberg Law requires an individual username and password issued by Bloomberg. If you do not yet have an account, please request your account at www.bloomberglaw.com/active (no activation code is required).

1L Memo Training (Lexis Advance Refresher)

Come to a training to learn how Lexis Advance can help you with your client letter assignment!  You will learn how to use secondary sources to gain a deeper understanding of unfamiliar legal issues and how to ensure that you have found the most relevant authority.

DINNER will be provided, and you also will earn 400 LexisNexis Rewards points. In addition, you will be entered into a drawing to win a $250 Apple gift card (drawing to take place in March and one winner at each school).
