We Welcome Two New Law Librarians

BA, English and Dance, Carleton College; JD, University of Minnesota Law School.
Prior to joining the Golden Gate Law Library staff in 2011, Jodi taught legal research and writing courses to college students at John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill and Heald College in San Francisco. Prior to that, she practiced plaintiff's-side employment law with a mid-sized firm in San Francisco and Minneapolis for two years. While practicing law, Jodi also served as a pro-bono supervising attorney at the Legal Aid Society-Employment Law Center in San Francisco. Jodi attended UMN Law School as a MacKinnon & Stone Scholar, was a staff member of Law & Inequality: A Journal of Theory and Practice, received the Best Brief Award in legal writing, spent a semester studying international human rights law in Costa Rica, and chaired a committee that persuaded the law school to offer a new seminar in reproductive rights law. Jodi is currently pursuing an MLIS at San Jose State University.

Prior to joining the GGU staff, Jennifer worked as a librarian in law firms including Heller Ehrman, Reed Smith, and Morrison & Foerster. In her law firm work, Jennifer has taught courses, given presentations and researched a broad range of issues. She also worked as a librarian in Washington, DC at both National Public Radio and the Law Library of Congress. In law school, she received a Certificate in Dispute Resolution in addition to her JD. Jennifer joined the staff at GGU in the fall of 2011.
